This is a custom mounted binding system. Many skis today come with "Integrated Binding" systems. But, this really means that the binding is a universal fit system, pre-installed on the ski, that fits any boot from size 4 to 14. Why would you want a "one size fits all" binding for you new skis? Proskiguy believes that a custom mounted binding system will perform better because (1) it will be placed on the ski exactly where it should be for your boot, (2) the toe and heel will fit with less looseness on the ski, and (3) shortest overall length will lessen the bindings influence over the skis ability to flex in a nice, round shape. Don't fall into the INTEGRATED BINDING TRAP! Proskiguy wants your skis to perform their best, so we recommend custom mounted systems whenever possible.

Twin Cam easy entry heel - The heel lever is connected to a mechanism that opens and closes the heel. This design lowers the amount of force necessary to open the heel or step down into the binding.
Total Contact Toe design -The entire toe piece can move with the boot as it abosorbs shocks, or as release occurs. Because the amount of sliding friction between the boot and binding is greatly reduced, the binding is better able to respond to the dynamic forces necessary to keep your boot on the ski, or release it during a fall. The Gliding AFD (toe rest) is virtually unaffected by dirty or worn boot soles, temperature variation, and other factors that might adversely affect the bindings safety performance.
Piston Control vibration dampening - Vibration is the enemy of every skier, and only Marker offers a system that mechanically reduces vibration forces in the ski. Filtering vibration makes the ski smoother on the snow, increasing edge hold and improving stability. The Marker Piston Control cylinder under the boot mechanically eliminates vibration that makes it harder for the ski edge to hook up with the snow at the beginning of a turn.
